Busy Bee Artisanal started from a passion to create things that bring joy to others as well as joy in the creation. After several years of doing the corporate gig, traveling all the time, leaving no time for doing the things that really bring us joy, we wanted a change. We needed to do something that would bring more joy, not only to us, but others around us. We found this in creating items through sewing, needlework, photography and painting.

Busy Bee Artisanal products are made with passion and thought, with sustainable products and uses in mind. We source fabrics and materials to be repurposed whenever possible. Whether it is buying boxes of fabric at estate sales, taking donations from friends, family and neighbors who would otherwise discard, or finding ways to use the scraps we have left over after a project is complete, we strive to repurpose whenever possible.

We are inspired by Mother Nature and the beauty around us. Bees, butterflies and birds especially bring joy to us when we see them in nature. We thought about the characteristics of bees - especially their nature to be social and their work ethic - and felt that was reflected in how we approach our creations, hence the name.
